     Welcome to Windmill Plantation’s website that has been developed as a communications tool for our residents by our residents.  We routinely include information about our neighborhood activities, its amenities, key documents and information related to our homeowner's association: see the tabs located on the left of this page.  There is also some general information about the Evans, Georgia area.

     Windmill Plantation is a peaceful, friendly, upscale community of approximately 300 homes located in Columbia County, Georgia approximately 4 miles from the central Evans community area.  Our residents range from young professionals to families with children of all ages to retirees.  Our neighborhood amenities feature 65 acres of recreational area that include a clubhouse with swimming pool and trained lifeguards (in summer season), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, playground, baseball/softball field, and an approximately 50 acre manmade lake for fishing.

     We are located just minutes from downtown Evans, all the normal shopping necessities, churches, the Evans Government Complex, library, and schools.  Many of the children who live in our neighborhood attend the Greenbrier schools (Elementary, Middle and/or High) located less than 1 mile away.  There are also numerous nearby recreational facilities that include Thurmond Lake and Patriots Park.
